Tigers' Hot Stove Heating Up

Word out of the winter meetings today sounded interesting.

The Tigers are apparently in a bidding war for Edgar Renteria. Renteria was with the St Louis Cardinals last year. He's a short stop, which sparks speculation about what position he would play, or if Carlos Guillen would be moving over to third base.

Also on the radar, J.D. Drew form the Atlanta Braves. Drew hit .305 last season, with 31 home runs. Drew would be a nice addition to the outfield.
