Spartan Recruits Competitve

Not among the elite by any means, but not a bad recruiting class for John L Smith and the Spartans. Most analysts are ranking the Spartans in the 30s and given them thumbs up on their efforts with Junior College player commitments.

"It's a good class," said recruiting analyst Tom Lemming of ESPN.com. "It's a competitive class. It's just not a knockout class like Michigan's."

The highest rated player on the list is Domenic Natale of Princeton, N.J., who is rated a top 20 prospect by Lemming. "Natale's a very good quarterback. On the offensive line, they got the guys they really needed."
