Wolverines Rank #2 In Recruiting

Scout.com has ranked Lloyd Carr's recruiting class second in the nation behind number one Tennessee.

Among the recruits is the talented and highly sought after Antion Bass from Jackson High. Bass was a QB in high school, but will used as a wideout for the Wolverines. Bass is ranked second among skilled athletes in the nation and many feel he could make an immediate impact.

Wallace of Scout.com said "Whether a freshman ends up playing quickly or not, nobody's going to be able to tell until he hits the practice field," Wallace said. "You can never tell who the kids are that can contribute until you get them out there."

From the sounds of it a very good recruiting class once again! Bass excites me a lot! I had been hoping that he would stay with U of M and it appears he has! It would be exciting to see him used like a Breaston, who is as exciting as they come when he is healthy! Great class, lots of potential, but we really won't know until a couple years down the road.

I'm anxious to see how he transforms from a QB into a WR. I know its semi-common of a thing, but sometimes it doesn't work out. All indications say he'll be fine. Let's hope!
