I'm baaaaaack!

I haven't posted in a while, my apologies. Let's get caught up.

Michigan is currently 5-1, and shares the Big Ten lead with Wisconsin. I had thought I was going to have to post a mid-season rebuttle to my prediction, but Purdue finally lost, and has boosted my confidence that Michigan can run the table. This weekend's game vs Purdue will be that test. If they lose to Purdue, I'll check back in and we'll talk about it.

Also, to update you on the questions I threw out about Michigan.. Henne is the QB, and is doing a GREAT job. Underwood is not the RB, Hart, a true freshman, took the job when Underwood couldn't handle it. Bummer for Underwood. Specials teams... Kicker is good, return stoppage is awful. Special Teams report card rating: C-.

Houston just won 6-5. They have now tied the series 2-2 with the Cardinals. I had penciled in the Cardinals to win the World Series against the Red Sox. Since the Red Sox are down 3-0 against the Yankees, and lost 19-8 last night, I can't see them there. Now questions remain, can the Cardinals come back and win the series against the Astros, and can either team beat the Yankees in the World Series? I think the Cardinals can, and will, come back and win the next 2 games. I think the Yankees will lose 1 game, before winning their series 4-1. As for the World Series...

St Lous wins in 7, Steinbrenner fires Cashman and Torre.
