ESPN.com - NBA - Preview - Toronto Raptors at Detroit Pistons

The Raptors visit the Palace tonight to take on the Pistons. Toronto enters the game 7-13 with a four game losing streak. The Raptors are not a particularly good defensive team, giving up and average of 99.8 points per game. Vince Carter and Jalen Rose lead all scorers for Toronto. Rafer Alston leads them in assists. I would expect Detroit to press Rose on the perimeter, and Carter in the paint.

It will be interesting to see how Detroit handles the Raptors. They lost the first meeting of the season (November 5) 101-89. Detroit is coming into the game with a 2 game winning streak, including an impressive win in Dallas on Monday. They should continue to press on defense, and attack from the perimeter.

Prediction: Detroit 92, Raptors 77
