Wallace See Stars, Tigers Get New Conditioner

Big Ben Heads To Denver

Ben Wallace has been selected to play in the All-Star game.

"I'm always excited about going to the All-Star Game," Wallace said Tuesday. "I'm just disappointed that I'm going alone."

Hamilton and Billups were hopefuls for the game, but when you have a head coach that can't see past his own players, Wade, you can't expect to get the call.

I thought Rip really got shafted last season. He clearly deserved to be on the team. It didn't surprise me he wasn't this year. Billups on the other hand did surprise me. But like I said, Wade...

That is what the Pistons are - a TEAM - and it happens. Ben deserves it, he is the best defensive player in the league hands down. Besides, when Rip gets the fianls MVP this season after the Pistons beat the Spurs in seven games, he can do what Chauncey did last year - win a finals MVP award before his first all star selection. The east is full of guards, and all though Iverson and Carter HAVE NO RIGHT to be starters, fans vote and that crap happens.
